Eid is one of the two main Islamic celebrations. In Lund we mark Eid al-Fitr after Ramadan and Eid al-Adha after Hajj — congregational prayer, food, and activities for all ages. Current times and location are published before each Eid below.

Big Eid celebration in Stadsparken
This year all of Lund’s mosques came together for one big, open Eid al-Adha celebration at Vita Scenen in Stadsparken. Hundreds of families came for the Eid prayer and stayed for a morning of food, games and activities in the spring sun. We grilled and handed out around 1,400 sausages and almost 60 kilos of sweets for the children. Alhamdulillah, it was a joyful day — and everyone was welcome. The celebration was also covered by Sydsvenskan.
